Yes; credit card payments are accepted online only. The bank charges a convenience fee of $9.95 to use the credit card. Electronic check payments are free.
◊ Can I pay my assessment at my local CBM office?
Yes, all offices accept check or money order ONLY—no cash payments are accepted.
◊ I received a statement that my assessment is late but I never received a bill.
The coupon book that you receive at the beginning of the year serves as your
"bill." Actual invoices are not sent
out monthly.

◊ How can I become a vendor for CBM?
You must provide a certificate of insurance and a W-9. CBM has a strict policy that all vendors must have certain
insurance coverage in order to work at any of the associations that they manage.
◊ I'm selling my home—what do I need to do?
Virginia law requires the seller of a home to obtain a disclosure package from the association and provide to the
purchaser.
◊ How do I obtain a disclosure package?
To order a disclosure package, please contact our office at 757-534-7751.
◊ How much does a disclosure package cost?
$225 for an electronic copy
$250 for a hard copy

want to make a modification to my home—what do I need to do?
Each association is different; but the majority requires that you submit an architectural application when making
modifications to your home. Approval is required prior to you making any modifications. Contact your association
manager for your association’s guidelines on modifications or to obtain the necessary forms that you will need to submit.
◊ I've heard that the association has an insurance policy—do I still need a policy of my own?
Yes. The insurance policies that are paid by the association cover common elements only.

Governing documents for your association can be obtained from the website. Go to

under the "documents" category.
◊ How do I notify CBM of my change in address?
All change of addresses must be put in writing and mailed or e-mailed to our office.
